School Statement of Philosophy

Lae Adventist Primary schoolis a Seventh-day Adventist institution. It believes in, and upholds the church’s Fundamental Beliefs and Doctrines.  We believe in the Holy Word of God, the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments as the divine and inspired written Word of God.

We believe that God, the Trinity and the Source of all Truth is the Creator of man and the whole universe and the Giver of the Ten Commandments.

When Adam and Eve were first created, they were sinless and were given the power of freedom to choose. And when they have fallen into temptation and have sinned, we all have sinned also and have fallen short of God’s Righteousness. The life, death and resurrection of Jesus bring to us the joy to experience Salvation through Him (Jesus), who sets us free by His death on the cross.

When God could no longer talk with man face to face as the result of sin, He began using Patriarchs and Prophets to teach His children.

Teachers today are no exception to that approach in the work of education. We are His hands, His feet, His mouth, His eyes and His ears. We are His servants to “educate to serve!” in His vineyards (communities and schools).
